Is this for real? You betcha! We were founded by Matt Kritzer, an online marketing professional based in the NYC area. Has he gone mad? We'll let you decide that, but you probably wouldn't get an argument from his wife, who swears this idea will bankrupt the family.

How do I play the Purchance! game?

When will my order appear in my Purchance! account?

Orders will appear in your account as soon as the retailer reports them to us. This usually takes a few days, but may take longer depending on the merchant. You will not be able to find out if you get 100% cash back on your order until your order appears in our system.

What if my order doesn't appear?

The vast majority of the time, there will not be any issue with your order appearing in your system. However, there will be a few very rare occassions when your order might not be reported to us. The issue is usually related to cookie tracking problems. To learn how to prevent these cookie-based issues, please see "Why would my order not appear in my account". Unfortunately, if your order does not appear in our system, you will not be eligible to win your order for free. We can assure you that such instances are very rare and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

Why would my order not appear in my account?

Since our order tracking system is cookie-based, any issue is usually a result of your click activity not being able to be tied back to our site. After you log in and click on a dice number to visit a merchant site, be sure to complete your order before clicking on any other links that lead back to that merchant site. Do not interupt your shopping session by closing the browser window, visiting other sites between your click on the dice number and completing your purchase, or clicking on pop-ups. There's no rush to complete your purchase, but please make sure the click on the dice number is the last click to the merchant site before you complete your purchase. When in doubt, visit the merchant page on the Purchance! site, make sure you're logged in and click on one of your dice numbers again.

When do I find out if I've received 100% cash back?

The magic number for your order will be revealed seven days after your purchase. If you selected the magic number, you get 100% cash back on your purchase (less shipping and taxes)! Yay! If not, then you still get $1 cash back on your order. Please note that if your order has not yet been reported to us by the time the seven days are up, the revealing of the magic number for your order will be delayed. When you order is finally reported to us, the magic number will show immediately.

What if I need to contact the merchant to change my order?

Be very careful when contacing a merchant to change an order. When changing your order over the phone, some merchants will void the online order and enter a phone order instead. If the online order is canceled, then we lose our visibility into your order. When in doubt, ask the merchant if the credit for your order will be shifted to the customer service department when making changes. The best move is to cancel the order over the phone and then place the order again by going through Purchance!

When can I claim my cash back rebate?

Cash back can be claimed 90 days after the purchase date and if your cash back balance exceeds $10. Why so long you ask? Well, we need to be sure to account for any returns, cancellations, fraud, etc. During this time, your cash back rebates will be shown as "Pending". After this pending period passes, your cash back will be shown as "Available" and you may then request to be paid.

What if I've forgotten my password?

No worries. Simply click the "forgot your password?" link on the login page and enter your email address. We'll then email you a temporary password to use, which you should change after logging into your account

How do I change my email?

Not a problem. Just log into your account and click the "change your email address" link.

How do I change my password?

Changing your password can also be done from within your account. Just log in, visit "my account" and then click on the "change your address" link

How long will it take to get my check?

We process prize checks every week, so it'll be quick. We promise!

Will you sell my personal information? Will I get spam?

We wouldn't dream of selling your personal info. That would bring on all kinds of bad karma. We won't spam you either. If you want to receive notifications about the latest events at Purchance!, just opt in. If not, no worries. We'll respect your privacy.

What if I'm playing multiple orders?

If you have multiple purchases to place on a merchant's site, you must return to the Purchance! site and click on a dice number before each purchase. You must click on a dice number before each purchase you place to be eligible to win your order for free.

How is the magic number selected?

The magic number is randomly selected each time a merchant's page on the Purchance! site is visited.

Is there a limit to the size or number of purchases I can get 100% cash back for?

Nope!

Can I use Google Checkout and Paypal?

If you use a third-party checkout service, like Google Checkout and Paypal, there is a chance that your order may not be properly communicated to us. It all depends on how the merchant has implemented those services into its site.

What if the merchant is having a private sale?

If the merchant is having a private sale, they may decide to not pass your order details to us. This will vary from merchant to merchant, and there is no way to really know for sure. But hey, it's free, so give it a shot. A private sale is good, but 100% cash back is even better!
